As a postulant, Yodit seeks to love and serve God wholeheartedly, embracing her duties with joy. “What a beautiful thing to do in this life!” she reflects. Yet amidst her sincere desire lies an inner struggle.
“The main problem arises from egoism and lack of self-denial,” Yodit candidly shares. Conquering this personal obstacle requires vigilant prayer and obedience to her congregation’s charism. “This is what I believe to be the key to religious life,” she emphasizes.
Through persistent prayer, Yodit finds sustenance and connection to Christ. “Prayer should be the oxygen for all service,” she affirms. Despite difficulties, she perseveres, knowing prayer strengthens her for selfless mission.
With humility, Yodit acknowledges the challenges ahead on her spiritual journey. But she trusts in God’s transformative power, gratefully saying, “The mercy and faithfulness of God has shown me His power in transforming me little by little.”
