Throughout her journey, Jovann faced numerous challenges, particularly during her time in Jordan amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Far from her family and in an unfamiliar land, anxiety and fear threatened to overwhelm her. Yet, her unshakable faith in Christ became her fortress and strength.
“When doubts arose, I turned to my faith, knowing that God’s love is my unwavering support,” Jovann reflects. “During a personal retreat, I found solace in the verse, ‘There’s no fear in love… perfect love drives out all fears.’ Fueled by divine love, I learned to conquer my fears, facing adversity with unwavering resilience.”
